About me

Paul Heis grew up in the idyllic Austrian village of Oberperfuss with folkmusic and folk dance ;-).
Later, studies an degrees at the conservatories in Austria in Innsbruck and Linz 1996, classical saxophone plus jazz & pop with the degrees instrumental pedagogy & international concert diploma. Paul has played in his pro-timetable on international stages since 1989 with various ensembles such as Military wind orchestras Tyrol/Innsbruck and Upper-Austria/Linz, Saxophonie-Tyrol, Comin' and Goin', HarpoSax, AlpinBanda, HeisSociety, Team Tyrol, diverse Big Bands... up to orchestras such as the Tyrolean Symphony Orchestra in the Tyrolean State Theater for operas and musicals, or with big Wind-Orchestras also as soloist.
